This is a popular viewing point on the main C710 road winding through the Tramuntana mountains of northern Mallorca. The darker area with the sea behind, marks the 200m high cliffs of the famous Torrent de Pareis Gorge, one of Mallorca's most scenic wonders. A little further up the road is Escorca, where the footpath leading down to the gorge begins opposite the restaurant.
